Strategic Purchasing Associate

Israel

 Nofar Energy, a global public renewable energy company, is looking for a Strategic Purchasing Associate.

Responsibilities

●     Identifying new suppliers in Israel and other countries

●     Identifying new technologies and improving the level of service

●     Negotiating with Israeli and non-Israeli suppliers

●     Responding to internal purchasing requests

●     Tracking and supervising existing and new purchase agreements

●     Formulating purchase agreements with external suppliers together with other internal parties

Requirements

●     Degree in logistics/law/industrial engineering/business administration – an advantage

●     Previous experience in purchasing with an emphasis on non-Israeli suppliers - must

●     Previous experience in negotiations, contracts, and agreements - must

●     Electrical engineer or technician – significant advantage

●     Fluency in Hebrew and English- both written and conversational
